Spacious for two but may be a squeeze for four

Gelert Rocky 4 Person Tent

By Mrs. Katharine Kirby
We  bought this for our grandson's birthday, as a play tent and to use for sleep outs in the garden. It came in a tidy roll pack the size of a small sausage shaped sports bag with carrying handles, and opened out neatly with the instructions sensibly sewn into the bag. A useful repair kit, labelled clearly for resealing the seams if required, also tent pegs in drawstring bags, the poles also in their own bag, all easy to recognize and understand.

The tent went up in a very short time even with help from little ones. The poles are all thankfully attached to each other by elastic which made it all simple to work out. They fit into clever key arrangements at ground level.

First up is the inner section with ground sheet all as one for the sleeping area, with a zip opening door into the little porch for storing your stuff all with easy to tie back flaps.

These flaps allow you to have clear view from the porch or more discreet covers.

Pockets and pertinent fire warnings are sewn in to the sides of the sleeping area, little air flaps too.

Toggles and elastic wherever needed, all logical and obvious. Then the waterproof cover goes on and is all encompassing, reassuringly well made and waterproof with guy ties already in place to secure the tent.A few alterations to angles and it looks the business.

I am glad I chose the four man version as really it is quite perfect for two, well roomy enough for comfort. A substantial tent at a great price, should give a lot of pleasure and be useful throughout it's life. On it's first day it was used during a birthday party for 20 children and nothing broke!
